So, I decided to finally post this outfit, which I shot back in december on a blogger meet up event with SbyVogue, I decided to go melancholic here, which I had never really tried. I've always been a very over-the-top person, in terms of personality and fashion, but I just want to pull off something simple but still very honest-something that can still state the boundless feeling. I decided to name this post after Rihanna's "Stay", this song wasn't a favorite when I first bought "Unapologetic", but like any other Rihanna song, it grew on me. The lyrics and the melody just spoke to me beautifully, as if I really felt the broken hearts, and all of the pain enwrapped onto a beautiful melody. This song also reminds me of somebody who's not on his best state, and I wish him all of the best on his survival.
So, back to the outfit. Yes, the color ISN'T melancholic at all, but does it reflect the sadness? The way I styled it did. I decided to choose this shade of yellow since It's not that vibrant, but it's still bright enough to be considered as a S/S color. I am in love with the yellow-skull with the british hat embroidery on one side of the pocket, I think it brings the jacket/shirt onto a whole new level with a slight goth british edge. I decided to style it as an outer layer, cape-like layering since I find it both chic and perfectly wearable and melancholic on the same time, with a t-shirt underneath, to make it loo more representable and urban.
I am so in love with the pair of military green trousers, since they're basically skinnies(more like I can't move my thighs). I love how the deep green is just versatile enough to be worn with yellow(where the yellow still pops out, while the green works as the neutralizer, yet it still stands out). They're basically a perfect match to most items, since they're a stand out themselves, but they still can bring other pieces to shine.
I decided to simply match the melancholic outfit with a studded bracelet and a pair of navy blue and cream sneakers, since I wanted to go with something simple, but still very Reinhardt Kenneth. I also wore a circle shaped necklace(which looks like a keychain), representing life and the world itself, since I believe in the statement "What Goes Around Comes Back Around"
